Help Fly 4 Mongolian Dogs to Safety
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Nico and I'm asking for your help in rescuing 4 dogs, who without our help, may not survive the year. In March, my Mom traveled to Mongolia for her work at the Justice Department and had the pleasure of meeting Rob G., her State Department counterpart who has been stationed and living in Mongolia for 3 years. Rob told her about two dog shelters he has helped fund after he and his wife encountered countless strays on the streets of Ulaanbaatar trying to survive through harsh winters in the coldest capital city on Earth. The attached video provides an overview of the amazing work Rob and the shelter volunteers have done. Rob's tour ends in July and he is trying to save as many dogs as he can, including finding some of them a comfortable and safe home in the United States. Rob explained that each passenger is allowed to travel with two dogs, so my Mom and I will be able to save 4 dogs - Pandak (Golden Retriever), Prius (Beagle), Peanut (English Shepherd) and Jelly (English Shepherd). A dog trainer in Mongolia has been busy getting these sweet dogs ready adoption and preparing them for their trip which includes vaccinating and quarantining the dogs and filling out of the necessary paperwork and documentation to enter the U.S. It will cost $1800 to transport the dogs on Asiana Air, so any donation to help cover the cost of their transport will go a long way. Rob has saved dozens of dogs this way and we feel compelled to help! I'm attaching a link to Rob G.'s fundraising page which gives you more information on the work he has been doing to save these dogs and the shelters he supports. Please Watch! You'll see amazing before and after adoption photos and read incredible stories about ordinary people doing extraordinary things to help these wonderful dogs. Pandak, Prius, Peanut and Jelly say thank you!
