Flutie is in the ICU with a high fever, refusing to eat, and general weakness. He is the Community Resource Dog (CRD) for Sharon and is still in training at Golden Opportunities for Independence (GOFIDOG). After a day of training and tracking, his handler felt something was wrong. He just was not himself. By Saturday morning he took a turn for the worse. He would not eat, he was stiff when he walked and not even lifting his head up. Thankfully Westwood Veterinary Care was able to take him right in. Dr. Dundon and Melissa Godin knew he was in trouble. They did bloodwork, IV and referred him to Tufts Vet Emergency Medicine in Walpole. He was admitted for intravenous(IV) fluids, close monitoring and IV medication. We are saying prayers for him now. Please help us get through this by making a small donation in his honor and sharing this campaign. Flutie has a lot of work ahead of him in the Sharon Community now and in the future.
