PLEASE, put yourselves in Floyd's shoes and realize how tough his life is now! PLEASE know that no amount is less and every single dollar counts! HELP your good old friend of Cricket, a proud Father, a good Husband, above all a jolly good man!!
By the grace of the Almighty, our dear friend Floyd Campbell now will be released from the hospital after a few months. Thank you for your prayers, blessings and good wishes. He is now able to breathe on his own without any medical devices, able to walk a little bit and can continue light activities on his own. But still ways to go to bring him where he was. He is taking a day at a time and recovering, keeping it strong & believing in God.
Now a new set of challenges for him, where we all can pitch-in and help Floyd to be back on his feet. He is drowned by medical bills worth of few hundred thousand! I know we can’t pay off his medical bills and he will seek help from the proper authorities.
But we can help him with the shortage of cash due to months of no job since he was in coma, lost wages, food, nutrition, medication/pharmacy costs, unpaid utility & household bills, and other logistical help he will require to continue receiving home-care, occupational/physical therapies, mental/emotional supports…. the list goes on!
Process of getting funds to Floyd:
1. Daily withdrawals to a local Wells Fargo Bank account
i. Floyd is unable to get funds from ‘Go Fund Me’ since he is in Canada and lacking to a few other compliance requirements.
ii. He has permitted me to be an interim beneficiary per ‘Go Fund Me’ legal rules and approvals.
2. Send Floyd funds on a weekly or bi-weekly basis to Floyd in Winnipeg
3. Every 2-week, I will post a breakdown of how much he has received including the associated costs such as:
i. ‘Go Fund Me’ 2.9% fee
ii. ‘Go Fund Me’ $0.30 fee per donation,
iii. 'MoneyGram'/'Western Union' wire transfer fees
Note: I might consider PayPal send as it will not cost to send, but will cost some to Floyd while receiving.
