Flower Pearl McCleskey came into my life when I needed her most. She was rescued from a halfway house in San Diego by a friend’s mother, and I was lucky enough to welcome her into my home. Now eight years old, Flower is caring, funny, charismatic, and sweet. She loves the outdoors, meeting new people, and has become a staple on my social media, among my family and friends.
She’s my first dog, my best friend, and a huge part of my family. Flower saved my life and taught me patience, joy, peace, and love. She’s talkative, adventurous, and we travel everywhere together.
Last week, Flower suddenly became very sick. She started vomiting and stopped eating, so I took her to the ER vet. After several visits, tests revealed she has critical diabetes, kidney issues, and pancreatitis. This was a complete shock, as she was healthy and playful just days before. The doctors believe they can help her recover, but the treatment and aftercare are extensive and costly.
The funds raised will help cover Flower’s ER vet visits, ICU care after she leaves the ER, insulin and other medications, prescription food, follow-up vet visits, and travel medications and care as we drive back from Nashville to New York. I’m reaching out because Flower has brought so much joy to my life and to so many others. I hope, with your support, she can continue to share her love and light for years to come. Any help means the world to us.
Any funds not used will be donated to an organization that supports dogs in need.
Thank you so much!! I love yall ✌
Stacy
