Dear friends and colleagues of Florida Pasion.

It is with great sadness that we must say goodbye to Florida Pasion - a dear friend, a loving mother, a devoted wife, a compassionate
colleague, and a blessing to this world.

Our goal initially was to start the GoFundMe account to assist with any expenses, unexpected costs associated with Florida’s sudden
illness and hospitalization. At the moment, we hope to raise enough money to allow her husband Boy and her two children Stephanie and
Joshua to take some time to heal, cover funeral costs and in hopes to save for the future for her two children.

Just a few things about Florida!

Although it is quite often said about those we have lost, Florida truly was a light to this world when things seemed dark. No matter the
struggle, no matter how bad the day, that never changed her energy, her love, her passion and her devotion to take care of all of those
around her, sharing her love and positivity. Florida served people in many ways, literally and figuratively. If you were sick, she would reach out to you. Need help from feeling overwhelmed, she will help carry the workload! If you are hungry, she will feed you.

As a colleague, she worked quietly and tirelessly - and never complained. She poured her heart and soul to her residents. The amazing care she provided reflected daily on her residents and everyone can vouch on that. She truly put the “PASION” in compassion (literally).
She understood each resident’s needs by being kind, by providing comfort, and by supporting those during difficult time.

Anyone who met her immediately were captivated by her energy, compassion, and over the top love of taking care of all those around her, and now we want to pass the same care she showed us all onto her family in this trying time, because we know she would have done no less for anyone else.

While saying goodbye may mean accepting that having Florida as part of our life is now over, this moment also provides us with a chance to realize just how blessed our lives have been. As the saying goes, “How lucky are we to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard”.

Let’s take this moment to look back and reflect on the journeys we’ve shared with Florida, while being exposed to amazing and invaluable experiences we often take for granted. Regardless of how long she has been a part of our lives, whether it is five minutes, five years, or five decades, her impact will always remain with us.

So, to Florida – “May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the hollow of his hand”. Thank you everyone - for taking the time to learn and read about the legacy our dear Florida has left with us. Your contributions mean more than words could ever say.
