Hi everyone. Full disclosure, I am in no way shape or form related to Florencia. My name is Kimberly and I have decided to shine a light on her story because Florencia deserves it. I will document all donations and be very public about this. Please help with whatever you can.
This is Florencia. Florencia collects donations
in front of the Bank Of America on Atlantic in
the city of Bell, CA. I first met her in Novemberof 2019. With a simple conversation, I learned that she has lost her kids tragically and has no way to return to her motherland. She lives here alone. She is fighting sicknesses, depression, and needs help. She is 3 months behind on rent; and doesn’t have help from anyone with groceries. She rides the bus every day to different places to collect donations so she can make ends meet. She is a fighter, even if the pain this woman has endured is not fair.
I had not seen her in months, but I saw her today (July 23, 2020) in front of the ATMs at the Bank of America in Bell. I decided I need to do more. We need to help her. I have volunteered to deliver her groceries and have exchanged numbers with her. Anything help, literally. I am not educated on resources for her. I’m sure there are many. If ANYONE can help in any way, please help.
Thank you for your time.
