Help Florence get back on their feet!

Hey friends,

Our buddy Florence Fatale has fallen on hard times. In May of this year, they were informed they needed surgery. A couple of months, one invasive medical procedure and a few post-op complications later, Florence’s mobility is significantly diminished during the recovery period, to the point of disability. The wheels are in motion to get Flo some financial support during this period, but as some of you may know the wheels of the federal government tend to turn somewhat slowly for this kind of thing. It could be as long as six weeks before the kind folks at the Employment Insurance branch provide any support. Meanwhile, our dear Florence is left without funds for, well, anything. And, it’s not just Flo who’s going hungry. There are also two cats to consider. They're pretty cute, too. Their names are Idgie and Kristin.

I think they’re(all three) a bit too proud to ask for help(way too proud-especially Idgie), so I’m asking on their behalf. All donations will go directly toward the cost of living(rent, phone, hydro, food etc), a modest amount for housekeeping to mitigate Flo’s limited mobility, and cat related supplies. I've added an extra 5% for bank and crowdfunding fees. Even if they don't reach their goal, any donation at all will help to relieve the pressure that Florence and the cats are undoubtedly feeling currently. Thanks for your consideration!
