Sandra Olivades has always had a big heart for animals. After recently losing her beloved dog Lucy to old age, she welcomed Flora Ru, a small black dog, into her family from the local pound. Flora Ru quickly became a cherished companion, bringing comfort and joy to Sandra during a difficult time.

Unfortunately, Flora Ru recently had an accident with one of her toys. The string from the toy broke loose and, without anyone noticing, Flora Ru swallowed it. The string is now wrapped around her intestines, causing her a lot of pain and putting her life at risk. The only way to save her is through urgent surgery, but the cost is more than Sandra and her family can manage on their own.

As Sandra's parent, I am reaching out to our community for help. Flora Ru means the world to Sandra, especially after the loss of Lucy.
