Help Flora get a specialist disability trike

Hello there, my name is Helen and I want to thank you for taking the time to read our story.
Three years ago me and Kevin welcomed a gorgeous little girl into the world, Flora Esther-Mae. Our world fell apart when she suffered a problem with her brain and was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. Because of this condition Flora is unable to sit up on her own, stand, walk or speak, she relies on others for everything. This being said, she is the happiest little girl I have ever known and her infectious smile and laugh will light up any room and fill your heart with love and hope. She is the strongest human I know and even at only 3yrs old she has gone through so much and continues to do so with a smile on her face. She never ceases to amaze us with her strength and determination. A prime example of this is when Flora attempted to ride a bike for the first time a few months ago. Flora is always kicking her legs and wanting to be on the move, unfortunately her body won't allow her to do this, so after speaking to her Physiotherapist she suggested to try Flora with a specialist disability trike; and who doesn't want their child to have their first bike, something we never thought would be a possibility for our little girl. The day of the bike assessment came and to say Flora exceeded our expectations is a complete understatement, she was strapped in and she was off......on her own......cycling and moving......independently! The joy on her face is something that will never leave me. We knew then and there that we just had to get this bike for Flora, being independent, playing on a bike like other children, not to mention the physical benefits cycling would have for her, we had to try and make it happen.
This is where you all come in. Due to the specialist nature of this equipment and all the safety features needed to keep Flora upright and secure the cost of this bike is way out of our price range. We have managed to acquire the help of a charity but the remaining money needed is still untouchable for us so we would like to ask if anyone would be kind enough to donate to our cause, we would be beyond grateful. The cost of the bike is £2500 and with charity help we are looking to raise around £900 to cover the cost of the bike and any extras she might need for it.
If we can get this bike for Flora it would be both mentally and physically beneficial for her and let her 'play out' like other children. I believe every child should have the chance to have 'a first bike' and every mummy, daddy or guardian should have the chance to help teach their child to ride a bike.
