Help FloFund Provide Menstrual Care Packages

FloFund is an Ann Arbor based nonprofit that strives to educate and raise awareness on period poverty through distribution of menstrual care packages. We are currently working with Hope Clinic and Ozone House, and always searching for new shelters to assist.

Poverty has been known to strike women in especially detrimental ways regarding menstrual hygiene, with 1 in 5 women between the ages of 12-44 living below the Federal Poverty Line in Michigan alone. 1 in 4 teens have missed school due to a lack of access to menstrual products. This problem needs to be addressed, as many tend to forget menstruators take up half the population, and any sort of struggle related to basic hygeine is a struggle that should have a spotlight.
