From One Dog Mom to Another: My Boy Flex Needs Help
Hi friends,
I’m a proud dog mom to a sweet, lovable, friendly, 2-year-old pup named Flex. He’s my shadow, my emotional support, my best friend—anyone who’s loved a dog knows exactly what I mean.
Recently, Flex tore both of his CCLs (which is the dog equivalent of an ACL tear in humans). After consulting with the vet, we found out that Flex needs TPLO surgery (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) for both of his knees in order to restore his mobility and ease his pain. The surgery involves modifying the bone structure to stabilize his knee joints and give him the best chance to walk, run, and play pain-free again.
It’s heartbreaking to see him struggle to stand, let alone walk or play. He still tries to wag his tail and act tough, but I know he’s hurting.
The cost of the surgery, recovery, and rehab is more than I can afford on my own. Asking for help isn’t easy, but I’d do anything for my boy—so I’m putting my pride aside and reaching out.
If you can donate, share, or just send us good thoughts, I’d be incredibly grateful. Flex deserves the chance to run, play, and live a long, happy life without pain—and with your help, I know he can get there.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart,
Che & Flex <3
