Meet Fleur – a gentle soul with a heart full of love, finally getting her second chance.

Found abandoned in our Abu Dhabi community, Fleur was matted but seemed okay — until we noticed her limp and dragging tail. A vet visit revealed the heartbreaking truth: she had likely been picked up by her tail and swung. Her tail had detached from her spine.

We can’t imagine the pain she endured, but this brave girl held on.

After emergency surgery to amputate her tail and a long recovery (complicated by gut issues from neglect), Fleur showed us nothing but patience and sweetness — despite everything she’d been through.

Now, at 18 months old, Fleur has found a loving forever home in the UK! It’s finally her turn to be cherished. But we can’t do this alone.

We’re a small group of volunteers rescuing dumped and stray animals in Abu Dhabi — and covering most of the costs ourselves. Overseas rehoming gives pets like Fleur a real future, but we rely on your support to make it happen.
