Help Fletcher Fight Cancer
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Toni and I’m fundraising for my 8-year-old nephew, Fletcher, and his family as they fight to beat cancer. At the end of November, doctors discovered tumours in
Fletcher’s brain and all over his spine. Fletcher has since lost his eye sight and the doctors aren’t sure if he will be able to see again. Fletcher requires at least 7 months of chemo and radiation. The doctors have told us that radiation may cause hearing loss and changes in cognition. They are recommending that Fletcher and his parents fly out to Ronald McDonald House in Florida for 2 months to receive specialized radiation that will prevent damage to Fletcher's organs. Fletcher’s parents are unable to work right now in order to take care of him. Any donations received will go to my sister Kalie (Fletcher’s mom) to help manage expenses related to cancer treatment, travel, and monthly bills so they can keep their home and continue to survive day to day during this extremely difficult and devastating journey. Fletcher is normally a happy, fun-loving, hilarious kid; he is smart and witty and loves to make people laugh. He’s had brain surgery three times already in order to remove and biopsy a sample of the tumour and to insert a shunt. Even through all of this, Fletcher still cracks jokes and is trying his very hardest to be brave and tough. We are a proud family and would not normally ask for money or help from strangers. If you are unable to contribute a donation at this time, I only ask that you please keep Fletcher in your thoughts and pray for his full recovery. We are forever grateful for your support, thank you!
