Help Fletch

It is with a heavy heart that we post this GoFundMe page for Glenn Fletcher. Just recently, at the young age of 59, Glenn was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer, which has metastasized to his liver. As you may know, Glenn is a fighter, and he will face this challenge head on together with the love and support of his family and friends.

Glenn has lived and worked in Tarpon Springs for more than 45 years where he has touched the lives of many. He had the fortune to travel the world when he was part of a several bands, including Savatage, Ted Nugent, and The Smithereens just to name a few. He is a master of his trade, a dedicated hard worker, and a perfectionist. Whether it was carpentry, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing there was never an issue he couldn’t solve. Unfortunately, due to his cancer, fatigue and pain Glenn was unable to continue to work at Duckworth Steel Boats where he was an asset to the company.

Glenn is a son, a brother, a father, grandfather, uncle, and a good friend to many. He has been someone you can count on and someone who always lends a hand when needed. He is a proud man and would not ask for help for himself, so we are reaching out on his behalf.

Although we are hopeful, the prognosis is overwhelming. His life becomes more precious and shortened as the days, weeks, and months pass. In an effort to make his life more comfortable without having to deal with the financial burdens associated with treatments and living expenses, we decided to create this page in Glenn’s honor.

Understanding that we are all financially stretched, especially around the holidays, it would be greatly appreciated if you could find it in your heart to help Glenn with a donation. Even the smallest sum would be helpful. It would not only lighten his load, but also brighten his day knowing you support him with his fight.
