Hi, my name is Llyle Hodge I’m a football coach, youth worker/mentor and founder of FLASHPOINT FOOTBALL CLUB totalling over 20 years of experience supporting young people within West London.
FLASHPOINT FC is a London FA–affiliated, not-for-profit grassroots football club based in West London. Since launching in April 2021, we’ve grown into a thriving community access point, now supporting over 200 young people aged 7–19 through community based high-quality football sessions.
Our club is proud to compete in the London Youth Premier Showcase (LYPS) League and provide a pathway for players who might not otherwise have access to competitive football. Our work goes far beyond sport, it’s about mental health, confidence, teamwork, and community.
WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
This season (2025/26) we’re fielding two competitive teams; our U9/10s and U11/12s and we want to make sure no child is left behind due to increasing financial pressure in grassroots football.
We're asking for your help to raise £5,500 to cover:
- Matchday Kits & Training Tops.
- League Fees to support families who are struggling financially.
- Training equipment – balls, cones, bibs, bags. ⚽
We remain committed to keeping our weekly sessions predominantly free, but competitive football comes with unavoidable costs. Your donation will help ease that burden and ensure every child has the gear, confidence, and opportunity to play.
OUR MISSION
At FLASHPOINT FC, we believe football should be for everyone, no matter their postcode, background, or bank balance.
Since DAY ONE we’ve;
- Delivered free weekly training sessions across term time and holidays
- Built a community of 200+ members
- Provided competitive football through the LYPS League
- Created employment pathways through our youth coach training program
- Partnered with local youth services and grassroots organisations to provide holistic support
