Help with Flash’s emergency vet fees

Hi Friends- humble request for help. My cat Flash is critically ill in hospital. I had hoped to sell a piece of my artwork to pay the hospital bill, but it may take some time to find the right buyer. Kind friends have offered to donate and suggested I set up this GoFundMe.

Flash is very ill with ketoacidosis as we discovered too late that she is diabetic. She really, really wants to live and is fighting like the bravest solider. She is showing signs of improvement as she is now eating and standing up from time to time. But still very weak and needs round the clock monitoring of her glucose levels, potassium and electrolyte levels. She is getting the best possible care at veterinary hospital.

Flash is insured with PetPlan but her vet and hospital fees are around £4100 and counting, which exceeds the approx. £3600 left on her insurance for the year. She’s been in hospital for 3 nights and needs to stay 1-2 more nights. I also need to fund 20% of the insured amount myself.
