Help FK Olimpik Macomb Make a Legacy

Zdravo! Hello! We are FK Olimpik Macomb, a group of college soccer players who largely come from the Bosnian community in Macomb, Michigan looking to start our own men's team. Our community bands around soccer, it is a rite of passage for many younger children and is something that creates lifelong bonds for many of us. That's how we started- a group of kids who happened to meet each other playing soccer and all joining the same club team. As we grew older, we wanted to give back and create a team that could represent us and the sport that helped raise us. While we recognize that there are existing clubs, our goal is to create a player-focused men's team that supports rising youths exposure into competitive league play. Though we are starting with just a men's team for now, we plan to expand and give back by hosting "camps for kids" at the Bosnian American Cultural Center in the Spring/Summer time. At the moment, we have been working and saving money ourselves to help support this dream.

However, we need your help. The cost of creating a Non-Profit organization from the ground up goes beyond what college students could make in their spare time and so we graciously ask for donations to allow us to buy jerseys, register our team, and pay for the general expenses that a team requires. This includes fields for practice and games, general practice materials, and money to be used for later seasons to maintain our goal of a community based, long lasting team. Down below, we have provided the expected expenses:

Initial payment dues

Non-Profit Organization Tax exemption fee - $275

League Registration - $3,167

Player jerseys - $1,377

Future dues

Field rental - 10,000$

Necessary Team Equipment - $1,700

Referee Fees - $1,600
