My foster kitten Fizzgig has been diagnosed with FIP and needs your help.
Fizzgig and her litter mates Gizmo, Gremlin, Critter, and Creature were rescued from a feral community TNR project in Blandon. Gizmo sadly passed away at Blue Pearl emergency vet within days of intake.
Fizzgig has abruptly presented with weight loss and lethargy, and diagnosed with FIP on 11/26. Feline infectious peritonitis, or FIP, is a mutation of feline coronavirus.
FIP is fatal, with 1-month or less average life expectancy after diagnosis, especially in kittens. However, with treatment with the antiviral drug GS-441524, over 80% of cats make a full recovery!
This means Fizzgig has a fighting chance!
The estimate for Fizzgig’s care is $642.
This includes antiviral medication and blood work. I have included her Hematology and Comprehensive Diagnostic paperwork, as well as her Estimate paperwork.
Please donate to give this kitten a chance at life.
