Help fix Timmy's spine

Donation protected
Timmy was adopted from the Jacksonville Humane Society as a small kitten. He came in without the full use of his back legs. He was also unable to go to the bathroom on his own. Medication and various treatments and tests were done but there was no improvement. He was going to be euthanized.

Having fostered him for the entire time he was at the shelter, I didn't think euthanasia was the best option. He had a strong will to live and was ultimately very happy and playful. He would drag his back legs around but he would still manage to climb to the top of the cat tree. He was never in any pain. He tries to play with the other animals in the house and purrs constantly. He was not ready to give up and neither was I.

Unfortunately, once he hit 7 months old, he started having spasms. His back legs would lock up and he would vibrate and cry in pain until it was over. Upon taking him to a vet, the x-rays showed an extreme curve in his spine that is most likely pressing on nerves. The next step is to take him to a neurologist and receive either an MRI or CT scan to determine if surgery or treatment is an option. Unfortunately, this is very expensive. Timmy and I are hoping to raise some money in order to help pay for these tests. He is a fighter and the most loveable kitten I have ever met. Please consider helping. Thank you.

Current estimates:
Consultation $195-$220
MRI $2,200-$4,000
CT Scan $900-$3,000

These estimates are based on the prices given to me by North Florida Neurology and The University of Florida Small Animal Hospital.
