At the beginning of the school year our main playground piece (the jungle gym/slide/playset) broke. We thought it had plenty of life left in it but apparently fate had other plans for our small playground.

In the past couple of years the school has had to remove a couple of older pieces that were deemed no longer safe and this was our main piece that kids from all across Brooksville and surrounding communities could enjoy. Without this piece there is only the old swing set and the tire swing to use for equipment for kids to play on.

We are asking for the Community's help in reaching our goal to help buy a large piece, or a couple pieces of playground equipment, to give our children something else to play on at the Brooksville Elementary School. This equipment is not inexpensive and many of us are trying to fundraise in various different way to help collect funds for new equipment.
