Hey! So in case you haven't heard, on January 1st my car got wrecked while parked in a hit-and-run accident. I initially thought (hoped) the damage was cosmetic, but recently found out that the estimates to fix it will average around $6000 :( This is especially bad timing because my current job requires extensive commuting. Worse, since I only have liability insurance and the driver was unidentified, I will have to pay all damages out-of-pocket.

Now, tbc, I'm not really expecting much, if anything. Not only is everyone going through it financially, but this is also right after the holidays, so I'm aware people are even more strapped than usual. So no worries if you can't contribute. But if you somehow can, any cent counts! (Also, for added incentive, the day I'm posting this - January 5th - is my birthday, if you want to make the donation a gift, *wink, wink*, lol).
