Help fix Jessica's broken down car
Donation protected
Dear friends,
Jessica is the amazing single mom to four wonderful daughters. She works a regular full-time job as a sheriff's technician and helps make ends meet by working at least three different gigs (picking up electric scooters and recharging them, delivering DoorDash, and selling jewelry). She has two used cars -a Mini and an old Crown Vic - and both are broken down and in need of major repairs. Besides needing a car to get to work and for her part-time gigs, she needs a car to drive her athletic and artistically talented and dedicated kids to practices, meets and rehearsals. Her oldest daughter is a college freshman, away from home for the first time and thriving. Her second daughter, a High School senior, is an accomplished cellist in the Berkeley High Advanced String Orchestra and an outstanding lacrosse player. Jessica's second-to-youngest is a high school freshman. This past summer her Girl Scout troop hosted a sister troop from Japan - taking them camping and sightseeing. Her youngest daughter is a middle schooler, also a Girl Scout and a violist in the school orchestra. For several years in a row she has been a top Girl Scout cookie seller. And she is an incredible athlete in basketball, lacrosse and soccer and one of my favorite kids.
Despite the many challenges from being a single parent family and living paycheck to paycheck, Jessica's girls are good students, dedicated athletes, musicians and Girl Scouts. But now they're facing the oncoming rainy season with two broken down cars. Besides needing a car to drive the girls around Jessica needs one to work and earn enough for bills and necessities. If Jessica can just get a new computer for the Mini they'll be ok.
Donations will be used to fix the Mini and other bills until the car is repaired. Any amount you're willing to contribute is greatly appreciated. Please share this GoFundMe with any friends and family who might feel inclined to donate to a really hardworking, dedicated mom of four amazing daughters in their time of need.
Thank you so much.
