On the night of 8/16/25 Armstrong Park was vandalized by two individuals that will cost approximately $10,000 to repair. Playing fields for football and soccer were damaged. Also, the goal post for the football was damaged beyond repair. The individuals will ultimately be charged and prosecuted and hopefully be ordered to make restitution payments plus community service. AYSO Soccer and Rocket Football has started and the RCSC goal is to get the fields repaired and new goal posts installed by the start of the season on September 6th. Any help that can be provided to help make repairs and buy additional security cameras would be appreciated.
