Hello Ardenwood neighbors, I need your assistance to keep working on the feral cat problem in our area. I started fixing the feral cats on my block with assistance from OHS and other support organizations. I have fixed seven cats and have worked with other rescues to get 12 kittens adopted or into shelter programs. However, the Ardenwood cat population continues to grow. I have identified 20 cats that need to be fixed and that is just scratching the surface. This is why I am reaching out to my neighbors to contribute to the effort. Going through charitable organizations lowers the cost but it costs at minimum $60 to get a feral cat fixed and $200 to get a kitten ready for adoption. Free appointments are few and far between and are not offered in a sufficient quantity to keep up with the birth rate. This is why I am starting this Ardenwood Feral Cat Fund.
