Help Fitzjoy Breathe with Ease

This has been a very challenging week for both @fitzjoy1love and I.

We were trying to keep this quiet, but many of you are finding out and both of our phones have been flooded with kind messages but we don’t have the energy to respond.

Weds evening, after getting a tattoo, Fitzjoy was rushed to the ER from extreme pain around his on his right side. They found a punctured lung and drained 2 L of blank ink on the first night. He had used numbing cream which can dilate the skin and cause these crazy types of accidents that normally don’t happen from a tattoo.

He is still in the ICU fighting to breathe and an infection developed in his lungs and last night they drained a 10 L of puss and fluid. He has been in an extreme amount of pain and on pain medication around the clock which is causing him to hallucinate. His heart rate had elevated due to him having a hard time breathing, and since last night it’s more stable. Today is the first day we feel like we are finally headed in the right direction.

He is still working hard to take his next breath. We don't know how long this road will be and how long he will be in the ICU. Today was the first day he was able to move a bit but he still can’t fully sit up.

We are also praying there are no long term side effects from this terrible accident.
