Help Fishtails Rehome Our Rescued Kitty

Late Thursday night, January 30th, a cat was spotted in a 30+ foot tree in a neighbors yard. Thinking “oh, it’s a cat.. it’ll figure its way down…” we went about our business. The following morning after taking our dogs outside we saw that the kitty was still in the tree. We immediately tried to rescue her ourselves to no avail. I went to Facebook and several ladies in the PHILAQUEENS group suggested Tesla Tree service from Pitman, NJ. Within 40 minutes, he was climbing the tree and rescuing our girl! She let me grab her and wrap her in a towel as soon as she came down.. she started purring immediately. We took her inside and dried her off (she even tolerated a blow dryer!). She just wanted belly rubs and head pats I kept her overnight and brought her to my pals at Fishtown Animal Hospital to check for a microchip, which we did not find. Fishtails is a rescue organization that fosters kitties looking for a new home. Dr. Lauren Cohn is willing to help find her a home through the rescue, but has asked for a $100 donation to help with vet and food expenses. I am more than willing to put up the funds, but figured the organization is such an incredible group of people - they deserve to have all the help and recognition they can get! Any help is appreciated and if nothing else, you now know that both Fishtails and Tesla Tree company exist! :) thank you!!!
