Fish is a big, sweet orange boy with a heart even bigger than his paws. He’s been part of one of my mom’s Riverside cat colonies for quite some time after being cruelly dumped there, but despite everything, Fish never lost his gentle, loving spirit.
A few days ago, while we were feeding the colony, Fish walked up to us, and we immediately knew something wasn’t right. He was limping badly, and his left arm was visibly swollen. This brave boy still came up for pets and affection, but it was clear he was in pain and desperately needed help.
We brought Fish inside so he can finally get the medical attention he deserves. Currently, we are unsure of the exact cause (whether it’s an injury, infection, or something more serious), but we do know that he requires veterinary care, diagnostics, and treatment as soon as possible.
More than anything, Fish is overdue for what every cat deserves: safety, comfort, and a forever home. He has shown nothing but love to everyone he meets, and we want to give him a real chance at a happy life.
Your donations will go directly toward:
- Fish’s veterinary exams, imaging, and treatment
- Any medications, wound care, or procedures he may need
- His recovery while we work toward placing him in a loving home
Any funds raised beyond Fish’s medical needs will go toward continuing our rescue work in Riverside - feeding the cats, and supporting Trap-Neuter-Release efforts so fewer cats are left suffering on the streets.
Fish has already been through so much. With your help, we can make sure the rest of his story is one of healing, safety, and love. Thank you for being part of his rescue.
