Hello, my name is Cesia, and I’m one of eight college freshmen asking for your help.

All of us come from low-income families, and we are first-generation college students — the first in our families to attend college. We’ve worked hard to get here, and we’re proud to have this opportunity. But now we are facing a serious problem: we don’t have the money to pay for our college bills.

Each of us needs about $2,000 to cover important school expenses like tuition, books, housing, and supplies. We’ve been looking for jobs, applying for scholarships, and doing everything we can — but it’s not enough.
