Hi, my name is Yasmin. I’m a Latina college student currently in my junior year, working toward my bachelor’s degree in psychology. Alongside school, I work as a full-time nanny, caring for young children and supporting families on a daily basis. This hands-on experience has deepened my passion for child development and strengthened my desire to help children grow, communicate, and feel emotionally supported. My goal is to continue my education and earn my master’s degree in Behavior Analysis so I can work with children who need behavioral and developmental support. I hope to make a real difference in the lives of families—especially those who need patient, compassionate, and informed care. As a first-generation student, pursuing higher education is both a dream and a challenge. Balancing school, full-time work, and living expenses can be overwhelming at times. I’m raising funds to help cover tuition and educational costs so I can stay on track toward becoming the professional I’m working hard to be. Any amount you’re able to give truly means so much to me.
