Help Restore the Historic Bell at First Parish Church of Westwood

The First Parish Church of Westwood is embarking on an important initiative to restore and revitalize several elements of its cherished Meeting House and Parsonage. Located at the iconic crossroads of Nahatan Street and Clapboardtree Street, the Meeting House is a familiar sight to both residents and visitors of Westwood.

One of the most treasured features of the church is the historic bell housed in the steeple. However, the bell has fallen silent for the past five years due to the deterioration of the belfry area. In order to preserve this piece of history and bring the bell back to its former glory, the belfry, bell, and steeple must be fully restored.

The estimated cost for this vital restoration is $65,000. Given extensive renovations required in other areas of the Meeting House and Parsonage, we are reaching out to our Westwood community and beyond for support.
