Fireside Pizza Company has always been more than just a food truck—it’s a small, family-owned business built with hard work, long days, and a passion for bringing people together over great wood-fired pizza. We have been incredibly grateful for the support of our customers and community over the last two years.
At the end of May, our lives were turned upside down when our food truck was struck by a drunk driver. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured, but the trailer sustained significant damage, forcing Fireside Pizza Co to temporarily stop operating. Since then, we’ve been without the business that supports our livelihood and allows us to serve the community we love. To make matters even more difficult, the driver’s insurance company has refused to cover the damages, leaving us with no choice but to hire legal counsel to fight for what should have been a straightforward claim. While we await the legal outcome, we have decided to move forward with repairs ourselves.
We’re asking for your help to bridge this incredibly difficult time. Your donation will go toward legal expenses and the repairs needed to get our trailer back on the road for good. We found a trailer mechanic in Mars, conveniently located one mile from one of our favorite local breweries, Stick City. As we had to hire a towing company to transport the trailer anyway, we decided to have the trailer dropped there for a quick weekend of serving pizzas before the two week repair process begins! If you are able, please stop by to see us! We miss you all and can't wait to put this behind us and get back to serving wood-fired pizza to the community that has supported us every step of the way. If you’re unable to donate or stop by, sharing this fundraiser with your friends and family would mean the world to us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and belief in small businesses like ours.
