Firefly Glass is a small-scale glass hot shop and expressive arts therapy studio located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Founded by art therapist and professional glass artist Amy Griffin in 2019 during the pandemic, Firefly Glass is a place where anyone - from those who have never blown glass, to visionary glass artists - can learn and grow in a cooperative and encouraging environment.

As the firefly community continues to grow our vision, the hot shop is evolving into offering fused glass classes. I am raising funds to purchase a GlassMaster kiln that will make this addition possible.

Firefly Glass currently serves as a community glassblowing hot shop that offers Glass Therapeutics which combines the art of glassblowing with one-to-one Expressive Arts Therapy sessions with adults and children. Glass Therapeutic sessions are intended to support grief work, queer/LGBTQIA-TS transitioning, neurodivergent, compound trauma, substance abuse/addiction recovery, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), unhoused populations, and TBI (traumatic brain injury)-affected individuals.
