Andrew Reid, a Firefighter at North Montgomery County Fire Department (NMCFD) recently had his home damaged by flood waters. His home sustained 5 feet of water inside, and displaced himself, his pregnant wife & their two children. Aside from water damage to the interior and exterior, a large tree fell also onto their home. The family is hoping to raise money to re-build their home as it holds sentimental value to them. Firefighter Reid has been with the NMCFD for one and half years, and is dedicated to serving his community. During the flood, FF Reid was on duty rescuing other families from the flood waters prior to going home to take care of his own home & family. Unfortunately FF Reid did not have flood insurance, which is going to make this rebuild even more difficult.
