Help firefighter Hayden Sneltzer rebuild after devastating house fire

Our community has always counted on our firefighters to show up in our darkest moments. Now one of our own needs us.

New Middletown firefighter Hayden Sneltzer has dedicated his time and energy to protecting others, answering calls at all hours, and putting everything on the line to keep our community safe. But recently, tragedy struck close to home.

A devastating house fire has left Hayden, his wife, and their three children with nothing. In a matter of minutes, they lost their home, they’re belongings, and the place where so many memories were made. Tragically, two of their beloved dogs were lost in the fire. This is a heartbreaking loss that has made this situation even more difficult.

Thankfully, Hayden and his family are safe, but they are now faced with the overwhelming task of starting over from scratch.

Hayden is someone who has stood beside us in emergencies, someone who has helped save homes, lives, and families. Now it’s our turn to stand beside him.
