We’ve launched our first ever GoFundMe to raise £2,000 for something our gymnasts truly need — a full-size Gymnova competition beam!

Right now, Firefields Gymnastics Club only has a small 8ft home beam — it’s the best we could afford. But some of our gymnasts are now becoming teens, and they simply can’t fit their skills on it anymore.

We’re proud to keep our fees low so all children in our community can access gymnastics, but that means big investments in new equipment are tough without help.

A full-size beam will mean:

Proper, safe training for older gymnasts

Room for progression and preparation for comps

Greater confidence and pride in their sport

If we spot a good-quality second-hand beam during the campaign, we’ll jump on that option to get the most out of your support.

This is our first fundraiser — if it’s successful, we’d love to run more to keep building a gym we’re proud of.
