Help Fired Healthcare Workers due to Vax Mandate

Hi All,

My name is Jeff and I'm walking from NYC to Washington DC. I’m walking to raise money for the fired health care workers due to the Vaccine Mandates. On January 23rd there’s a March in DC called Defeat The Mandate DC which will be the end destination of my walk.

I am hoping to raise $100,000 for these fired health care workers. The money will be distributed to some of the people I meet and stories I hear on social media.

In New York, where I've lived since 2015, they have fired over 30,000 healthcare workers. Many of these workers received no unemployment benefits or financial compensation from their company. New York also removed the religious exemption on their mandates.

Across the country over 100,000 health care workers have been fired. This number will only grow if the OSHA or CMS vaccine mandates are allowed.

These health care workers were treated as heroes for almost 2 years. Once the mandates were instituted, they were kicked to the curb and treated as a pariah.

I don't believe this is right at all and I am walking to take a stand against this mandate and all mandates related to the covid vaccine. It goes against my beliefs as an American and as a human to take away these freedoms from people.
