INTRODUCTION
Its become more than apparent to me that my next phase of transition will be Gender Reassignment Surgery. Living with bottom dysphoria is simply not something I can do any longer. I am currently already on hormones which set me back a decent chunk of change along with having to pay for things such as laser, name changes, wardrobe ect. Its a lot, I'm struggling, and to do this I'm going to need a bit of help. I've never asked for anything like this, so its a bit of a first. Ireland's trans healthcare is pretty poor, the HSE waiting lists are prohibitively long (possibly 4 years before I'm even seen properly), so doing this privately is my only option.

In my time transitioning, I have met some of the most lovely people on earth, kind and sweet, and I rarely ask much of them. However, this is the big one, the one I need all hands on deck for. Any amount you can give will be accepted with open arms. Even just taking the time to read and share this means something. I can only ask you give what you can and thank you in advance for your help.
ME
I'm 29, and I'm hoping by 30 that my GRS will either be a reality or something on the horizon as I move forward with my life. The last year has been more than a transition for me, but a transformation into the real me that's always been there. But its now clear that to finally be fully comfortable in my body, I will need to get GRS.
I've come so far and I'm so proud of myself, but I'm also so proud of those who've followed along with me. I've made it a point to be very open about my transition and that's not going to change now. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you all.
COSTS
GRS itself has been quoted to me at £15,000, however I am aiming to try to get together €21,000 due to the difference between the pound and euro along with other factors such as me not living in the UK and having to travel to London to get consultations, assessments and of course the surgery itself. I plan on taking out a loan to help fund all this which will mean repayments going forwards for several years, which I why I plan on having this gofundme be a long term thing. Its a lot of money and I'm going to need help for quite awhile.
THE SURGERY
At the point of writing this I have made the initial inquiries and have been quoted the basic price. I will (hopefully) be getting bottom surgery of the penile inversion kind. Before this however, I will need 2 psych evaluations (not included in the price) along with likely needing electrolysis (also not included in the price) so as you can see, this all sort of piles up and I'll really need the support. I will also need to spend some time possibly in an airbnb (obviously not included in price) for recovery before I'm fit to fly home. This is going to be a lot, not just financially, but mentally.
