About a week ago Fiona had her first seizure after that her breathing was very different.

She was getting better and then four days ago she had two seizures.

(Me being out of town for a family funeral) my friend took her to the emergency vet.

Fiona was in really bad shape, her tongue was turning purple she couldn’t breathe on her own. The emergency vet thought it be best to keep her there until I made it back in town so they can monitor her and keep her in an oxygen room.

Now they have started her on seizure medication; and we will have to wait to see if this medicine works for her.

As you can imagine emergency vet services are very expensive.

Fiona is my three children‘s and my best friends we cannot imagine our life without her.
