Fiona is a young dog who was rescued from a neglectful situation in Spring City, PA. She and two other dogs were found by animal control living in dangerous conditions, even stranded on a roof, before being brought to safety. After adopting Fiona, I quickly realized she was struggling to adjust to life as an indoor pet. She doesn’t indicate when she needs to go outside, frequently uses the bathroom inside, and sometimes rolls in or eats her own waste. Recently, she’s even started pooping next to me in bed while I’m sleeping. These behaviors are distressing for both of us, and I’m worried there may be underlying health issues contributing to her struggles.
I’ve already taken Fiona to the vet for her yearly shots, but I can’t afford to return for further testing to rule out gastrointestinal problems or parasites. I’ve reached out to several trainers and learned that a board-and-train program would be the most effective way to help Fiona, but the cost is far beyond what I can manage right now. The stress of trying to help her is overwhelming, and I feel guilty and defeated, even though I’m doing everything I can and following all the advice I’ve received. Fiona is happy with us and gets along well with our other pets, and I want to give her the loving, stable home she deserves. I’m asking for help to cover the costs of professional training and vet care so Fiona can thrive and stay with the family that loves her.
Your support will go directly toward vet visits to rule out health issues and professional training to help Fiona adjust and live a happy, healthy life. Thank you for helping us give Fiona the second chance she deserves.
