Fiona has been a special part of my life since 2021. When unforeseen circumstances forced me to re-home her, I placed her with people I trusted, hoping she would have a happy life as a companion for their puppy. Sadly, over the next three years, Fiona was not socialized or exercised, despite my offers to help with training. When her previous family decided to re-home her due to a new baby, I was heartbroken. I immediately drove five hours to bring her back and arranged for her to enter a board and train program, hoping it would help her regain her confidence, lose weight, and prepare for a new start.

Fiona has now spent nearly four weeks in the program, and her progress has been incredible. Her caregiver sings her praises, sharing how sweet and resilient she is. Despite her transformation, Fiona still hasn't found a foster or permanent home, and her time at the training facility is almost up. The staff have kindly offered to board her at a reduced rate, but I need help to pay off the loan I took out for her training and to cover the cost of extra boarding while we continue searching for the right family.
