Help Finnigan Get Lifesaving Surgery

Donation protected
Finnigan has been a beloved part of our family since 2019, when my daughter and I rescued him on a cold Black Friday in northwest New Jersey. We found him in a difficult situation—separated from his littermates, covered in fleas, and surviving on cat food. From the moment we saw his big, sad brown eyes, we knew we had to bring him home. Since then, Finnigan has brought so much joy and comfort to our lives, especially to my daughter and me.

Recently, Finnigan developed a serious medical issue. He has been struggling with a bladder stone for the past year. Despite special food and medication, the stone split in two and both pieces are now lodged in his urethra. While he is still able to urinate, a complete blockage is imminent, which could be life-threatening. The only solution is a cystotomy to remove the stones and have them analyzed to prevent future issues. The urgency of his situation has left us feeling desperate and scared for his life.

As a disabled mom caring for my family and another rescue dog, we have always managed to provide for our pets’ needs. However, with rising costs and no hospitals willing to accept a payment plan, we are facing financial hardship. We are heartbroken at the thought of losing Finnigan simply because we cannot afford the surgery in time. Any support will go directly toward his surgery and recovery, giving him the chance to continue being the loving companion he is to our family.
