Help Finnegan's Parents Cover Medical Bill

Donation protected
Aloha my name is Tracy and I want to help a neighbor and friend cover the cost of a very expensive veterinarian bill that is accumulating by the hour. Here is the story: Finnegan is a very beloved Goldendoodle of Dylan Quigley's and will hopefully reach the age of 2 on May 5, 2023.
On Tuesday, March 14th around 5:30 p.m. Dylan took Finnegan for a walk and somewhere between his home and the walk Finnegan ate something that was not good for him; we don't know what he ingested. We are not completely sure if he ate something in the yard or on the walk. The vet thinks it may have been slug bait.
When Finnegan started acting weird at approximately 8:00 p.m.; not walking right, having tremors, and shaking, we rushed him to Feather and Fur Vet Clinic immediately. The vet gave him drugs but his heart rate wouldn’t go down and his tremors wouldn’t stop. Finnegan got a fever so they gave him anesthesia to put him under. That brought the fever down. The vet then pumped his stomach and fed him charcoal to help bind to the poison. They gave him anti-tremor drugs and put him on oxygen. When they pumped his stomach he aspirated (got liquid in his lungs).
They gave him antibiotics in case he got pneumonia, which he did. As of Thursday, there are no more tremors but he is still on antibiotics and they are monitoring him. He is resting comfortably and stable at this time.
Finnegan is mounting up quite the vet bill and his dad and mom, expecting twins, are under a great deal of stress as any young couple would be with an $8,000+ vet bill thus far.
Finnegan is still at Feather and Fur and we do not know when he will be well enough to be discharged. Any donation amount(s) are greatly appreciated and will be used to take care of all medical bills for Finnegan's care incurred at Feather and Fur Animal Clinic in Kailua, Hawaii. Prayers are also welcome and greatly appreciated. Please pray for Finnegan's full recovery.
Dylan just wants pet owners to please pay close attention when walking their dogs. Rat poison, slug bait, fertilizer and other products can cause great harm to our furry best friends.
Mahalo for your prayers and contributions, any amount is helpful and again much appreciated.
