Help Finn - Stray Cat that was SHOT

Finn, a beautiful stray cat was SHOT. This cat was being taken care of by a nice lady on the Eastside of El Paso, TX the past few weeks. On Sunday Feb 28th, the cat appeared dragging both back legs. The cat was just fine before Sunday, walking normal. Cat Rescue Corporation was just contacted Tuesday night asking for help. We got ahold of him Wednesday morning and took him straight to Crossroads Animal Clinic. 

We were thinking he had been run over and had a broken back or back legs. His X-rays showed his back and hind legs were just fine. But they saw something else alarming. Bullets. This poor cat was shot. He has no exit wound. Vet said removing the bullet would only cause more damage and recommended just putting him to sleep. But we saw how alive and alert he was. He is eating and drinking well, meowing for attention. Vet said he didn't appear to be in pain. Vet said he might regain control in his back legs - it would just take weeks or months to see improvement. He was given two steroid injections for inflammation before being discharged the following day on Thursday. Total vet bill was $444.00

We contacted our good cat lady friend who has a physical therapy background to help us rehabilitate him and she gave us a great daily regimen for him. He is already showing great improvement and we have faith he is going to walk again!

But, this Sunday morning, March 7th, he has blood in his urine. We rushed him straight to the animal hospital on Airway - where he is now. They are running an urinalysis and blood work to see what's going on. They are thinking it could be an obstruction, UTI or he's unable to fully express his bladder. The vet bill is already at $500.
