Finn came into my life over five years ago when I adopted him from Grass Roots Rescue. He was rescued from an extreme hoarding situation in West Virginia, where over 20 dogs were living in difficult conditions. Since then, Finn has become a beloved member of my family, bringing so much joy and love into our home. Finn has my whole heart—he is truly my dog.

Recently, Finn developed perianal fissures in both of his anal glands. He was treated for this in September 2025 and seemed to recover, but in the last few days, the issue has returned and is causing him pain and discomfort. The veterinarian has recommended an emergency consultation, medication, and most likely surgery to help Finn heal and get back to his happy self. I want to do everything I can for him, but I have no idea how much this will cost or what the outcome will be. What I do know is that getting Finn the proper care immediately will give him the best chance at a full recovery.
