My sweet Goldendoodle Finn was recently diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma, a form of liver cancer. What started as mildly elevated liver enzymes led to ultrasounds, specialist visits, and ultimately the discovery of a large liver mass. Thankfully, after further testing with an oncologist, we received more hopeful news than we initially feared. Finn has the “massive form” of hepatocellular carcinoma, which is often treatable with surgery. His specialists believe the tumor may be localized, and we are moving forward with advanced imaging and surgery with a board-certified veterinary surgeon.
Finn is still acting like himself: happy, energetic, loving, eating normally, and enjoying life, which gives us so much hope. His doctors feel he is a strong candidate for surgery, and we are doing everything we can to give him the best chance at many more healthy years. The funds raised will help cover the costs of CT scans, chest imaging, surgery, hospitalization, pathology, and recovery care.
If you are able to contribute in any way, I would be deeply grateful. Even sharing this page means so much to us. Finn is more than a pet. We are hopeful, staying positive, and fighting for him every step of the way. Thank you for your love, support, prayers, and kindness.
