Finn is my seven-year-old golden retriever and the baby of our family. Last week, he started acting lethargic and lost his appetite, which was so unlike him. After rushing him to the emergency vet, we went through bloodwork, x-rays, and more tests. The news was heartbreaking: they found a mass in his rectum, another near his abdomen, and signs that the cancer may have already spread to his lungs. The vet estimates there’s about a 30% chance, but I’m working closely with an oncologist to find the best treatment plan for Finn.
Between the emergency room, regular vet visits, and all the testing so far, the bills have already added up to several thousand dollars. The cost of treatment is expected to be high as well, but I want to give Finn every chance possible. He’s such a lovable goofball—he adores his siblings, loves any kind of ball or squeaky toy, and never turns down a treat (I call him my little garbage disposal!). His siblings are always looking out for him, and our family can’t imagine life without his joyful spirit. We wouldn’t know what to do without our baby Finn—our Puppy Licious.
I’m reaching out for help because every bit of support, whether it’s sharing our story or making a donation, means the world to us. Thank you for being part of Finn’s journey and helping us fight for more happy days together.
