Help Finley Get the Care He Needs

Dear Friends and Family,

We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts to share the story of our beloved cat, Finley, who recently faced a medical crisis. Last Wednesday, Finley began experiencing symptoms including vomiting, a decreased appetite, and lethargy, raising concerns of a potential intestinal obstruction.

After a visit to our family veterinarian, X-rays indicated the possibility of a linear intestinal foreign body, prompting a more in-depth ultrasound. The results were concerning; while foreign material was detected in his intestines and inflammation was present, it was not completely obstructive at this time. Unfortunately, Finley's condition requires immediate action.

Ideally, the best treatment option would be surgery to remove the foreign material, but the financial burden of this procedure is beyond our current means. Therefore, our vet provided fluids and medication to ease his nausea and hopes the material might move on its own. We have been advised to closely monitor his condition and seek follow-up care to reassess if surgery becomes necessary.

This is where we need your help. We’re seeking to raise funds for Finley’s ongoing care, including follow-up visits and potential surgical intervention that he desperately needs. Every little bit helps and will go directly towards his medical bills.
