Finley is my son’s friend, and we first met his amazing mum Gemma Ewen on a SALT signing course when our boys were tiny. Since then, our families have stayed close, and I've watched in awe as Gemma and her husband Keith have shown unbelievable strength, love and resilience through the hardest times.
Finley was born with a rare condition called Lymphangioma and has already endured 40 surgeries, lives with a tracheostomy, and is recovering from a devastating seizure in January that caused a brain injury. Despite it all, he’s brave, funny, and full of life.
We are now raising money to support them through this difficult time and for vital rehabilitation support to give Finley the best possible future, as the NHS simply cannot offer the level of therapies children require. Finn's rehab journey will be a long and arduous one for the family, due to the extent of the damage to his brain, but Gemma and Keith are determined to try to give Finn the best recovery outcomes possible.
It would mean the world if you could consider donating, fundraising and sharing for Finn.
