Hello I'm Alyssa, my bully I just recently rescued, so he wouldn't get put down was hit by a reckless speeding driver within the week of me learning how to be a dog mom with a toddler.  was hit by a car who admitted wasn't paying attention but when I reached out after the incident in hopes for any help, or insurance claim that would help, or even him being willing to re post this gofund me so more viewers could see he wasn't willing to speak to me or help in anyway. He rolled under the car and has 2 jaw fractures. He is turning 3 oct 27th!! He has no brain trauma and is healing well. He has metal rods in his mouth that need to come out to finish this long journey he's been unable to play, eat food without it being blended and will. Be so excited ones these rods come out. Unless I come up with half of the bill I am going to reschedule the appointment which will procrastinate this situation for a few weeks. With it being the beginning of the month I know it is complicated for many, but anything helps and goes a long way. He's such a good boy and is progressing daily. I appreciate everyones prayers and support. I thank the ones who have helped already with his prior bills. I have one last bill and we will be good to go besides checkups, which I'm getting insurance for moving forward. Recently since surgery slowly his scars are healed he's running around again his energy is back from being off his medications. He's doing so well. Listens so well and listens to my 4 year old commands. He deserves a quick recovery. I don't want them in longer than they need to be because I cannot come up with over 1500. Anything helps even 1$. *I CHANGED THE AMOUNT BECAUSE I THOUGHT I WOULD BE ABLE TO KEEP UP MORE ON MY END AND HE ALSO HE NEEDS TO HAVE CHECKUPS AND MORE MEDICATIONS SINCE HIS EARS HAVE LEAKED SINCE SURGERY ON THE Sep. 23RD.* not trying to be greedy and change the amount but this is so much more expensive than I thought. I still owe a small amount from his last surgery and I know his check up will cost and the medicine to help his ears. He is my first dog and I want him cared for properly I am in the process for getting him pet insurance, but I don't want him to suffer and he keeps rubbing his head on everything scratching I feel bad and I know he needs something to help because it has to be a reaction from his antibiotics. God bless!! Soon He is almost fully recovered and then he can eat regular food and play with toys soon. He will never be able to use any rubber toys the hospital said. Or dog bones, And with everyone helping it's making it closer and closer for him to atleast enjoy the things he can have and love. I am trying to get all his bill I owe paid off so we can move on from this horrific day .. thankfully my daughter was at daycare when it occured so I was able to put my full attention into getting him in a strangers car to get to the closest animal hospital. he is finally legal and signed up through my town with his proper vaccinations and shots, I got denied by my housing but I was able to get him to be a emotional support dog through my mental health, so this fight and journey has been extremely overwhelming but so worth it because of how amazing and loving and friendly and protective he is of my and her now.
