Help finish Jimmy Russell’s “Elvis O’Reilly” LP

Hi friends! Im a portland based musician who plays in a number of eclectic community based musical scenes around the pacific northwest. In late 2022 i began recording a full canon of incredibly personal and emotive songs with grammy winning producer Steve Berlin (2022 best americana record).

 The our current project was recorded in three overwhelmingly exciting, fun and productive tracking sessions with a constantly revolving musical line up of some of my best most talented musical friends.A wonderful line up of legitimately world class musicians participated including, reggie houston, renato caranto, steve berlin, tyrone hendrix, shook black, larhonda steele, arietta ward, dustin lanker, dennis dove, sean badders, steve kerin, michael elson, david lipkind, paul brainard, raymond richards, and kina lin muir. It was recorded at two world class studio’s, Arjuna, and Red Rockets Glare.

 We ended up with 90 mins of usable rhythm tracks. Under the direction of Steve Berlin’s keen musical sensibilities, we widdled it down to 15 tracks coming in at 49 mins.

I need $5,000 to pay for 3 remaining post production tasks before it is finished and released.

The funds will go towards three very important tasks.

 1. Mixing. The money will pay for some tasteful mixing as per Berlins world class tastes. (This part of the process is already finished and turned out really fantastic. the engineer is currently patiently waiting for me to raise the funds. THANK YOU DOMINIC )

 2. Mastering. This is the final step in commercial production. Again going with berlin’s guy because this is not the place to skimp on production value

 3. Digital release. I need fund to get the record up on digitally on all of the digital platforms.The scope in tempo’s, styles and Sonic boundaries of the record flow in great dynamics, despite the ever changing musical landscape every track embodies the character through which i channeled this art; “Elvis O’Rielly”.

 Elvis is a composite character through which i explore the scope of generational trauma that saturates a family tree and the lunacy that manifests as one attempts to stop the wheel of karma. It is a record about coming to terms with narcissistic abuse and being used as a supply for anti social behavior. Also reflections upon the behaviors that arise from being to predicated upon such toxic culture.

 Every time i listen to this record i get a wide ranging cascade of emotions and im truly happy that i made this and feel that it has great potential to serve its purpose in the world. I really did turn out great! Any help would greatly appreciated. I am so grateful for what i have already received and just need a little more. Thank you all so much!!!!
